Hello everyone,

is a little overgrown field in the territory of the municipality of Ittiri, near the Rio Mannu on the border with the territory of Usini, which I attended at various times of the year, in this space of about half a hectare, with Lars Friman we found several species such as Scotolemon doriae, S. terrestrial, Histricostoma argenteolunulatum, Mitostoma sabbadinii, Dicranolasma soerenseni, Lacinius horridus, Homalenotus cf. buchneri? (new to Sardinia), Nelima cf. Nelima n. sp. (Cf Nelima Nelima n sp. (A new type of black?), As well as other types of arachnidi and various insects. Here I found some time ago also two specimens of Limax group corsicus.

Nice list of intersting arachnids! How does one distinguish the two Scotolemon species?

The differences between these two forms are extremely
modest, and the chaetotaxy of the palp, the apophyses femoral and genitals are almost matching (cf. also Brignoli, 1968, and MARTENS, 1978).
The only striking difference between these two forms lies in the eyes, well n
developed in the so-called S. terricola, more or less "invisible" in so-called S. doriae.

BTW: What a program generates such exif-sidestrip (the 1st two pictured)? Its a nice feature.

@ Martin, the program is called "Arles Image Web Page Creator", and has many other interesting features, usually do not use the exif-sidestrip for the post of spinnen.de, I have included these because I was so in the archive.
