Titel: Black Gnaphosidae in the meadow => Zelotes oblongus

Gorgoglione, Province of Matera, Basilicata, Southern Italy.

Date of discovery: 11 May, 12 noon.
Habitat: 800 m - in the countryside, in a small meadow with low vegetation, under a stone.
Size: 9 mm.

What genus of Gnaphosidae is this female (adult?)?

Hey Raf;

Pretty sure she is adult. On the first picture the posterior median eyes appear oval, which kicks out Drassyllus, I think.
I guess she belongs in Zelotes, but I can't really see enough to be sure. The rough draft is what I see (or believe to see), but details at I and II would be nice and I can't figure them out...

Ok, that's doable. A mature Zelotes oblongus.
