Another Italian spider. :)
Mah, never seen it before but, if it really is Menemerus I exclude with closed eyes both semilimbatus and taeniatus, juveniles and adults. The third species bivittatus I do not know.

Mmmm, I am assailed by doubts about the genus.
@Michael
Are your suspicions my doubts?

If you mean ;)

Phew, now I don't follow you Micha.
Always Menemerus or P. (for example e.)?
-
It's certainly a Menemerus. There is no other genus in Europe with such a body form and color combination.
The photos that Micha added are from a pale M. taeniatus that was also found in Italy. So that's a good candidate.
Maybe I'll check this place once more in 1,5 weeks to see if there are some adults.
I just collected my first jumping spider today to try to have a look at the pedipalps (a Chalcoscirtus). I feel a bit ambivalent about it. Sacrificing these amazing animals is a bit sad but I also want to know who it is.

If so, my doubts were unfounded.
I have yet to see a young taeniatus so clear.
Greetings.

Sehr unwissenschaftlich also 😁
