Titel: Misidentifications among Drassodes females
Beitrag von: Simeon Indzhov am 2021-04-23 12:29:25
I have been looking at the Drassodes females in the wiki and found several (potential) misidentifications:

On the Drassodes cupreus (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_cupreus) page:
- By Arno (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_cupreus#/media/Datei:Drassodes-cupreus_Puettberge_15-05_01-epig-vulva.jpg): this one is not very certain although Rainer had addressed this specimen somewhere in the forum. Going purely typologically, this has to be Drassodes lapidosus.
- also by Arno (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_cupreus#/media/Datei:Drassodes-cupreus_Gimritz_07-05_04-Epigyne.jpg), from ten years ago: similar case as above.
- by G. H. Morka (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_cupreus#/media/Datei:Drassodes_cupreus_vulva_600_GHMorka.jpg): with two chambered posterior receptacula, obviously Drassodes pubescens.

On the Drassodes pubescens (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_pubescens) page:
- by Arno (https://wiki.arages.de/index.php?title=Drassodes_pubescens#/media/Datei:Pubescens_Gimritz_07-05_06-Epigyne-Epigyne.jpg), a very old photo: this one is strange but seems to belong to the cupreus-lapidosus complex with the low lateral folds and the constricted anterior receptacula, there seems to be only one pair of posterior receptacula too. Maybe an actual Drassodes cupreus with the angular posterior end of the septum?
